Sleep Away Camps

WHY WILDERNESS AWAKENING?

Wilderness Awakening offers two annual sleep-away camps in the St. Croix Falls River Valley, WI. Jump into our sixth year of camps to contemplate, restore and revitalize.

We have a lotus belle tent to house campers and counselors. Together we’ll prepare and cook our meals, fall asleep to the call of the owl, and be surrounded by the rich wildlife of the St. Croix river valley. Activities include hiking, building, playing in water, creating, singing and more!

Please note that we are in the process of filing our Recreation Education Center License with the State of Wisconsin. This includes building a Bath House and running toilets onsite!

While in this process, we are currently hosting our overnight camps at Wisconsin Interstate Park.

“Devon loved her week of summer camp! It was a special and magical experience in an amazing setting and she wants to go back every summer. She loved the campfire stories, hiking and learning about edible plants, and sewing. The girls in the group really connected which made it even more special. Julia and the other camp counselors were very kind and attentive. Devon would recommend the camp to anyone who loves nature and she's excited to camp again this summer! Thank you for the wonderful experience and memories!”
