Sunrise Forest Bathing
Start your day with a gift to your nervous system.
About forest bathing
Forest bathing is a gentle and immersive way to experience yourself in relation to nature. Unlike a hike or nature walk, the emphasis is not on getting somewhere, or acquiring knowledge content about the surroundings, but rather to support your awareness to return to your body and your senses in relation to the natural surroundings. This nature-connected journey offers both structure and openness, allowing your unique needs to be met through sensory invitations. Evidence-based, forest bathing has been proven to benefit physical, mental and emotional well-being.
I invite you to start your week with gentleness and ease as you awaken with the winged ones at our country’s oldest public wildflower garden, Eloise Butler Wildflower Sanctuary. Immerse yourself in the chorus of more than 130 resident and migratory bird species. Unfurl among over 300 species of plants and flowers toward the rising sun. Curated and accompanied by a trained Forest Bathing Guide, this hour and forty five minute long experience consists of sensory invitations to bring your awareness into your body and it’s natural connection to nature. This will allow you to continue your day refreshed, centered and grounded with your bejeweled senses.
